Description

Khukuri is a historical Kukri named after Junga Bahadur Rana a famous historical leader of Nepal and a founder of a glorious Rana dynasty. The Jung Bahadur Kukri is a very historic and a unique replica of a Kukri once used by Jung Bahadur. The Kukri, unlike other normal kukris, is very long and the handle, instead of being of wood, bone or horn, it’s made up of metal. The handle has a grip and base similar to that of a Sword.

The khukuri is the pride of we Nepali people,  our forefather has given us the reason to be proud of the Gurkha knife. These knives are hand-made crafts from Nepal. Every piece of the Kukuri has been hand bitten and the quality of the materials used in making this knife are of the best quality. The Gurkha knife has been semi-polished in the blade so, that the blade does not form the rust easily. But we suggest everybody keep the blade dry and clean when not in use.

If taking about this knife the blade design on the blade has given an extra look then other normal khukuri. You can see that this khukuri gives you the historical feeling the way this knife has been decorated. This kukri was used in the past in the Country when the king was ruling the country. Even you can see in the photo the way the knife blade and the handle have been made in the point to makes you feel like the Royal family. Usually, the other normal khukuri doesn’t have that type of handle. The shape and size of the kukri are the same as the original khukuri. For your betterment, we have started doing customized kukri so if you have any idea about the kukri or want to make any design you can mail us.

The handle of the knives has been made to protect your hand. The blade is full tang so, you can chop or cut any hard things from the blade. Buying this kukri is not only for days or months it can be used from one generation to another. Keeping the blade clean can give you use for many more years.

We highly recommend that the wooden parts on all kukri are treated with the appropriate timber oil or wood treatment prior to use to protect and prolong the life of the timber. All of our exquisite Kukri’s are hand-made and as such there will be variations in size, weight, timber color, and other such features that make them unique and distinguishable from machine-made imitations. Buyers must be 18 yrs and over to purchase any knife or sword. Please note that the kukris are shipped directly from Nepal. Once you used it you will automatically want to share with your friend and family.
