Kothimora Khukuri (Kukri) is always referred to as the khukuri (Kukri), which has a scabbard especially made from silver. Kothimora is a knife specially made for retiring Gurkha or British Army Officers. A retired officer can get this Khukuri from his regiments as a memento. There are different types of Gurkha Regiment in the British Army, better known as the Brigade of Gurkhas, and they have their own Regimental Badges.

Shop for a Kothimora silver knife from the Famous Gurkha Khukuri House as we offer khukuri that showcase the work and the design of the silver on the scabbard. It is very immaculately done with the Regimental cap badges mounted on it. The colors of the respective Regiment are kept as a background using high-quality velvet.

Beautiful patterns are carved in the scabbard depicting cultural and traditional values using domestic tools. These kukris are used for ceremonies and as gifts to mark respect and appreciation. In the army, a higher rank officer will be presented before leaving the Regiment. A Nepali bridegroom can also be seen wearing one with his ceremonial wedding costume. These Kothimoras are of different color velvets; sizes from 4 inches blade to 14 inches, and of different prices depending on the Regiment's color flags and on the amount of silver used.
